The Drey was built in early 2021 specifically as a rental property.  It's well insulated so is cosy all year round, open plan, with a small shower-room and mini kitchen. It is 6m x 4m (260sq ft) The cabin sleeps 1-2 people either friends or a couple. 

Host Karen Miller looks forward to welcoming you to her own special slice of heaven. It's a wonderful place for a staycation, a photography workshop, a trip with friends; on your own; or a romantic getaway!

The cabin has twin, European single beds (longer than regular singles to accommodate taller guests) which, on request, can be pushed together to create a super king.  The beds have mattress protectors as do the pillows and as part of the Covid deep clean all of these will be laundered between guests.  The duvets are single and there are both medium and firm pillows to choose from.  

There's a shower room with electric shower. 

The kitchen is designed by Elfin Kitchens and although small is perfectly formed! There's a combi microwave allowing microwaving, grilling and oven cooking; a fridge with freezer compartment; and a sink. 

The cabin has comfortable dining and seating areas. 

There are shelves and a hanging rack for storing items of clothing and a shoe rack for your boots. 

There are plenty of power points, three of them have usb. A shaving/toothbrush charger adapter is available on request.

There is Starlink wi-fi in the cabin (new for 2024!)

There are a selection of nature and photography books for you to enjoy during your stay featuring some of the amazing wildlife that we have here in the Scottish Highlands. There are a few board games available on request.

Outside, there's a decking area where you can sit and enjoy the views and bird song.  There's space for up to 2 cars.

A starter pack of tea & coffee is provided as is sugar and a pint of milk (normally semi-skimmed, but please let us know if you'd like something different or no milk).  Disposable barbeques can be purchased from the hosts.

One well behaved, adult dog is permitted but cannot be left alone in The Drey.  It is no-smoking.

Check-in from 4pm, if the host is unavailable you will be given instructions on how to access the cabin.

Check-out by 10am

Should you wish to arrive earlier/later then please check with the host, it should be possible as the cabin is empty a day on each side of a booking.
