Thank you so much Karen! Our stay has been fantastic. The cabin is cosy, all the furnishings, kitchen ware and books are really well thought through. The bed is super-comfy. The cabin has such a homely feel with incredible views! Seeing the cresties was amazing! We hope to be back soon.

We had a fantastic workshop with Karen photographing the wonderful "cresties". Thank you for introducing us to wildlife photography and for creating such a relaxed and easy atmosphere. A brilliant birthday gift for Craig - he didn't want to leave! The Drey is a lovely and comfortable cabin. We loved all the thoughtful touches and squirrels dotted around. We'll be back soon!

Thanks so much for your hospitality and sharing your photography skills and knowledge of wildlife. Really loved spending time with and photographing your red squirrel family, and with the cresties up the hill. Very pleased with the results! Sub zero temperatures were a challenge on day one but also made for some stunning scenery. Sad to have missed the hares on day 2 due to the gales but it's a good excuse to come back again! Have loved staying at The Drey, it's a lovely cabin in a beautiful area. Look forward to seeing you again next year!

Surreal, beautiful cottage with idyllic views. So peaceful and quiet up here. We never thought we'd be staying at such a beautiful scenic cottage in the Highlands. We have experienced such warm hospitality from such a talented warm soul. We know that the Scottish tradition is pleasing and needs more recognition. It was a lovely stay at your cottage and everything was perfect. I loved our breakfasts, the rainy morning and the most comfortable bed! I also enjoyed your books. Thank you so much!!

Staying at the Drey was idyllic. The countryside that surrounds the cabin is picturesque, with birds tweeting and cows grazing nearby. The cabin itself is very cozy and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed. We ate the porridge and drank tea Karen provided, and really appreciated the firm bed. We ran into Karen on the morning we were leaving and had a lovely chat, and she gave us some recommendations for the next leg of our trip. The cabin location is perfect, outside the town of Inverness but a short drive into town for everything you need. Cannot recommend highly enough

A lovely and comfortable cabin - it felt like glamping! So beautifully quiet and far from the madding crowd. Trips to Fort George, Findhorn and Glen Affric were all quirky and wonderful. Revisiting some places after 50 years, and discovering new ones. A terrific 3 day holiday.

Thanks for a lovely stay and two fantastic days of photography. The "squirrel therapy" worked a treat and we are leaving feeling relaxed, uplifted and full of new knowledge about Scotland's wildlife and how to photograph it. What a wonderful place! The Drey has been the perfect place for us. It is deceptively spacious, with all we needed (comfy bed and chairs, lovely shower, fridge and lots of electrical sockets for recharging stuff), while without superfluous things like a TV to clutter it. It was lovely and quiet with superb views over to the sea. Marion took many sunset pictures! Marion had an amazing time watching and photographing the squirrels under Karen's expert guidance. The location of The Drey is convenient for so many other activities. I enjoyed walking the two trails at Reelig Glen while Marion was "squirreling". We also squeezed in an afternoon at Chanonry Point watching the dolphins which we thoroughly recommend. Thank you Karen for creating such a lovely Highland retreat.

Thank you Karen! The Drey has been a perfect stress-free bolthole from "high octane" classical music concerts in Strathpeffer this weekend.
